H&R springs give much more stability with very little reduction in ride comfort.
How is this possible? Simply because the materials used by H&R are much higher quality than the materials in the original springs.
The higher quality materials let the initial travel of the spring to be soft for comfort and then increase in hardness much faster than the original spring to give stability under braking, cornering and acceleration.
The lower quality of materials used in the original spring cannot give such a wide range of spring rates.
