RaceChip Type S

If you don't care about adjusting the product, you don't care about getting the most power and you just want the cheapest product which gives a power increase, the Type-S is perfect.

Type-S has 5 power settings, 1 less than the RS and 2 less than the GTS

Type-S has the same processor as the RS and GTS but the software has been detuned to give less power

It is not possible to reprogram this product if you change your car.




RaceChip - What you get and how you install the product

All RaceChip products are plug-and-play. You do not need any special knowledge of tools to install the product. In the unlikely event that installation is difficult on your engine, we will send you the install photo before we take your order. Otherwise we will send you a photo with the product.

PRODUCT COMPARISON - RS vs GTS vs XLR

RS - Increase Engine Power

1. 6 Power settings.
2. Includes all cables and connectors required for fitting
3. We will email you the installation photo if you need it.
4. Can be reprogrammed, price depends on the cars, budget 150-190 Euro which includes new cables if needed and all transport costs.

GTS - Increase Engine Power - Same as the RS except

1. 7 Power Settings
2. Includes free reprogramming. Reprogramming does not include transport and new cables if they are required, budget between 70 and 120 Euro.

NOTE: As an extra service, RaceChip offer an engine and gearbox warranty in some markets. At the moment RaceChip have not found a suitable insurance partner in Greece. For this reason they offer no engine or gearbox warranty for customers in Greece, on any RaceChip product. RaceChip products sold in Greece are identical to those sold in other markets eg Germany, Switzerland. For more information of the product warranty see below.

XLR - Adjust your engine's throttle response

Many cars now come from the factory with adjustable throttle response. The XLR gives you even more adjustment and if your car has no throttle adjustment the XLR will give you 7 stages. Plug and play for cars with electronic throttles.

If you have changed or you plan to change your turbo/downpipe/camshafts the FIC or a custom tune is the best choice for petrol cars. For diesel cars bigger turbo/downpipe/cams can be used with the RaceChip
