More front end grip, less understeer, better steering feel, faster
steering response. It is much better to adjust caster than camber. Adjusting
caster gives all the benefits of adjusting camber with none of the
downsides. Increasing caster does not effect tyre wear and it does not
reduce grip when braking and accelerating.

Octavia Tuning - Sachs Αμορτισέρ, Συμπλέκτες
Sachs make very high quality parts. These parts are not uprated but if you want
a low cost replacement that performs as good as the stock parts, feel expensive
but are low cost, it is hard to go wrong with Sachs. If you need adjustable dampers,

Octavia Tuning - Brakes
Ferodo DS Performance are an excellent street pad. Good performance from cold, good
performance when your pushing on. More expensive than Ferodo Premier listed below
but will last around twice as long as Ferodo if you drive in the same way.
With DS Performance you get a better performing pad, costs a little more but last
longer so not really much more expensive in the long run.
Ferodo Premier for the Octavia. If you want a decent pad and dont need good hot
performance, Ferodo Premier is a good pad for you.
What can I say about Brembo? Probably the best brake discs you can buy at an unbelievable
price. If you want that extra 10% of performance Brembo do drilled discs but to
be honest, with modern pads, the plain discs give you all the performance you need
on the road.
Octavia Tuning - Engine
K&N Panel filters are for you if you want the same power but you dont want to keep
replacing the paper filter to maintain performance. If you want power increases
on your Octavia, K&N 57i intake kits are arguably the best you can buy. Low cost
and big performance.
Octavia Tuning - Suspension
H&R Springs are probably the biggest single performance gain you can get for the
money. Skodas are very soft from the factory. If you want your car to roll less
in cornering and be more stable in general, without making the car more uncomfortable,
H&R is for you. Just as comfortable as the standard springs but performance is taken
to another level. And you can use them with the original dampers!
Octavia Tuning - Transmission
If your car is making big power, a Quaife diff will make your car handle like an
EVO. Well maybe not exactly, but close! Lifetime warranty, no power limit!
Octavia Tuning - Filters
Not the most interesting part but quality filters are essential to the health of
your engine. Mann filters, in our opinion, are the best you can buy. All Mann filters

Octavia Tuning - Suspension
Spax are not a well known name in Greece. In the UK they are amongst the most respected.
If you want your suspension adjustable for height and for hardness, Spax RSX, in
our opinion, are as good as anything on the market. Extremely good quality.
If your car is close to overheating or if your Octavia is running big power, Mishimoto
radiators will reduce the stress on your engine by reducing stress on the cooling
system
If you want to adjust the hardness of your suspension without the hassle of coilovers,
Spax have what you need. High quality valves give a silky ride, made in the UK.
Engine mounts can be the weak link if you are making big power. Powerflex bushes
will reduce engine movement and still be okay for the road. A big more vibration
in the cabin but they keep engine movement controlled reducing stress on exhaust
flanges and driveshafts.
Another win-win modification. Wiechers are probably the best strut bars in the world.
They will make your car more comfortable and make it handle better. Amazing.
