Warning: This filter flows a lot more air than the standard filter, turbo spool up will be quicker and the car will have more top end power BUT the ECU may take a couple of days to adapt to the higher volume of air entering the engine. Usually the filter is fine as soon as it is fitted but on cars where the old filter was quite dirty and blocked it can confuse the ECU for a few days until it gets used to the filter.

If your gauge is mounted in a place exposed to direct sunlight the visor will cast a shadow over the gauge so you can still read it.

Is your car making the power it should, are you losing power, is your turbo working at it's best, get a boost gauge to find out.

Look after your turbo with a HKS turbo timer. Extra wiring may be needed on cars which have alarms that were NOT fitted at the factory.

Get boost sooner and hold it longer, an electronic boost controller will transform your boost response.

Lambda sensors have a long life but they are a service item. Your lambda sensor will have a shorter life if your car has  been programmed to make more power. An accurate lambda sensor is critical in getting the maximum power from your engine and is key in getting good fuel economy.

The standard intercooler is good but it can be improved upon. The Forge front mount gives a small temperature drop and it will give bigger temperature drops on cars running higher boost pressures.

Lower intake temperatures also give the engine more power without increasing stress on the engine. The turbo can make the same pressure with less effort if the air entering the engine is cooler

Modern cars are much stiffer than older cars but there are still gains to be made.
