Audi Tuning Programs from Street & Circuit

Audi TT Tuning - OEM Plus

A tuning program to improve the performance of the Audi TT. The mission of OEM+ is to make the car more suited to drivers who want more performance but who do not want to compromise on comfort.

Audi TT Tuning - Fast Road.

A tuning program for drivers who don"t not mind giving up a bit of comfort for good fast road performance.

Audi TT Tuning - Track Day

A tuning program for drivers who want performance first and comfort second. The parts we recommend for this stage of tuning will work perfectly on the road and will not cause any problems, they are simply performance orientated and not comfort orientated.

Audi TT Tuning - Suspension

OEM Plus - H&R Springs. H&R lowering springs transform the way the Audi TT handles in corners while maintain 90% of the road comfort. H&R springs can be used with the original Audi dampers. The use of the original dampers is key to maintain ride comfort while improving high speed stability. In our experience the springs fitted to the Audi TT from the factory are far too soft, H&R springs in our opinion are the springs that should have been fitted to the car from the factory. Some people believe that fitting lowering springs will make the car more uncomfortable and will lead to problems with the suspension, for example bangs due to the suspension bottoming out. We guarantee that you will have zero problems with H&R springs. H&R springs exceed the quality of the springs fitted to the car by Audi.

Fast Road - H&R Springs with Koni Sport Dampers. The fast road tuning package for the Audi TT takes it a step further than the OEM plus package by adding uprated dampers. While the OEM Plus tuning package transforms performance for fast road driving the standard dampers can struggle to keep up with the body movements. For brisk on road driving OEM Plus is fine, if you want a more focused packaged for more intense driving we recommend the fast road package. Koni sport dampers have amazing valves which gives super stability with minimal reduction in comfort. An amazing combination.

Track Day - Coilovers. For ultimate performance there is only one option and that is coilovers. Street & Circuit supply coilover kits from a variety of manufacturers which all perform at a high level. We like Spax dampers for the Audi TT. They come with loads of adjustability for height and hardness, they come with a 2 year warranty are low cost compared to their German rivals. Spax coilovers are made in the UK.

Audi TT Tuning, Intake

OEM Plus - K&N 57i Filter

If you do not want to hear the engine at all, we recommend a K&N panel filter. A K&N panel filter will not make more power than a new paper filter but it will maintain more power between services and you will not have to buy another air filter again.

Fast Road - See OEM Plus

Track Day - Pipercross motorsport cone filter.

Audi TT Tuning, Exhaust

OEM Plus - Blue Flame Cat Back Exhaust - One of the first modifications people carry out, probably because it is the most obvious. Turbo cars have a quite exhaust note anyway, so don"t worry about the exhaust being loud, it won"t be. Blue Flame are made in the UK and come with a lifetime warranty. Blue Flame also make race cats for the Audi TT if you want to take things further later. Price vary according, usually around 695Euro, please call.

Fast Road - Although this option is much more expensive than the OEM Plus option we believe the cost is worth it. This option includes high flow cats for maximum performance. Ultimately the cat is the biggest restriction in the exhaust not the exhaust itself. If you want to keep legality and improve performance, the turbo back system is the way to go.

Audi TT Tuning, Brakes

Brake pads fitted to cars from the factory are some of the most compromised parts on a car..

OEM plus - If you don"t need to brake from high speed more than once every 20 seconds, Ferodo Premier will do what you need.

Fast Road - If you need to brake from high speed constantly, for example driving down a mountain, you will need a set of stronger pads. We would recommend Ferodo DS Performance. Ferodo DS Performance cost more than Ferodo Premier but they also last longer than Ferodo Premier by around 50-100%.

Track Day - For constant high braking loads Ferodo DS2500 (front & rears) brake pads will perform. If you want something a bit more special than Ferodo DS2500 while still having good braking at low temperatures, we recommend Roesch Carbon Fibre brake pads.
